Being new to the area I heard this was a really good place to go eat and since we were out running errands one night in Trexlertown I could get my husband to try it. The service was great, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, and the food was delicious. My side salad was huge. It was actually a small salad add on not really a substitution for fries but it was worth it for the extra 7. I would probably just get the fries next time too and take them home for the grandkids later. The Avocado Chicken Ciabatta with Chipotle on the side was amazing!!!! The cole slaw was really good too. The burger was so big it was even too big for my husband to eat it all. Of course he did and paid for it later. They even gave us all free ice cream for dessert that night.

The food is great (spinach and feta omelet). It was crowded; and while the service was fast it was a little inaccurate. Coffee is really good, esp for a diner!

Wonderful diner with good food, comfortable seating, full bar, and viewing screens . Stopped in for some lunch and was very pleased with the delicious food, menu options and specials. We tried the Chicken Apple and Brie on a Ciabatta sandwich with your choice of sides, and the Grandmas French Toast Platter with eggs your way and your choice of sides. Everything was excellent, perfectly prepared and delicious. Food is prepared with fresh ingredients, and portions are filling, with fair prices and good service. Excellent diner and well worth a visit for delicious quality food . Highly recommend . Loved it . Keep up the great work.

Wonderful diner/restaurant. We went for the first time on Easter, a party of 5. We got seated right away, food came out perfectly, everything was delicious & the portions are big! Service was excellent, clean restaurant and bill was under 100 for 5! What a bargain, we will be back. Thanks for a great experience!

Always a good meal at hometown. They have lots of specials. Wraps are good, burgers are good. Steak is so-so, you're getting it well done regardless of what they tell you. Salads are good. Club sandwich is good. It's decent food for a decent price. They did get rid of their stamp coupon thing where you got a punch on a card for each visit and then a reward after so many visits, that is disappointing.

I have eaten at the Hometown numerous times over the last 10 years. The food and service consistently range from very good to excellent. That would include my experience today, Mother's Day. We arrived at 10:30 am to a crowded restaurant and a very long waitlist, both of which were handled very well by restaurant staff. We always enjoy eating at the Hometown!

The food is delicious and the servers are friendly. It is a great place to unwind and enjoy good company. Their Avocado Toast breakfast item is out of this world. I highly recommend it if you like avocados and eggs. Delicious!
